Why Romotur?
Romotur is a DMC with more than 30 years of experience in the MICE business and incoming leisure tourism. We design exclusive experiences for business incentive programs and leisure groups in wonderful places in the Basque Country and Northern Spain, such as Bilbao, San Sebastian, Vitoria, Rioja, Santander, Galicia, etc. We also support the organization of large-scale events like car launches, conventions, congresses and any kind of event where you need the trust and knowledge of the most experienced local DMC.

Our Clients
Sustainability
By nature, a DMC functions as a nexus between clients, the host area, local institutions, and local providers. Indeed, this central node is a strategic position from which to promote, and transmit good sustainability practices in other stakeholders of the network, and it is our intention to increasingly take on this responsibility as we move forward. In February 2023, Romotur was recognized as a member of the Euskadi Tourism Code of Ethics, which seeks to encourage local tourism entities to incorporate social responsibilities and environmental and economic sustainability into their daily practice. The idea is to incentivize the incorporation of local communities with tourism activities. This way, the economic, social and cultural benefits of tourism are shared and spread. As part of this commitment, Romotur makes sure to organize its guided tours in compliance with the guidelines of the manual of good practices. Making sure tourism is well received by local residents is key to the long-term success of our sector and destination. In December 2025, Romotur passed from being Biosphere Committed to Biosphere CERTIFIED. In the same month we also received our ETI Certification (AENOR UNE 178510 Empresa Turística Inteligente – Intelligent Tourism Company). More information here.
