Urdaibai: Natural Reserve of the Biosphere

From Bilbao, head to the Biscayan coast to enjoy the panoramic views of coastal towns such as the sailor town of Bermeo. The next stop will be Mundaka, famous for its surf championships. And finally: Gernika, where you will first visit a Txakoli winery and after learning the techniques of elaborating this unique local white wine, of course enjoy a tasting! After lunch the tour will visit the town of Gernika, whose tragic past inspired Pablo Picasso’s famous mural of the same name, and find out the significance of the famous “Gernika Tree” and “Casa de Juntas” in Basque history and culture.
