Just 20 km away from the French border, lies a pearl of the Biscay Coast: San Sebastian, the city with the most Michelin-star restaurants per square meter in the world. Locally known as “Donosti”, it was the European Capital of Culture in 2016 and is the annual host of the Zinemaldia International Film Festival. In addition to food and culture, it is also known for its many beautiful beaches, each with their own personality. the picture-perfect La Concha and Ondarreta beaches for families and sun-bathers; Zurriola for the surfers, and the lesser known Santa Clara island beach.
The walking tour will take you to the most important monuments of the city, but also along the city’s most famous beach – La Concha. Your seaside-stroll will take you all the way to the famous “Peine del Viento” sculpture.
